Job Summary

The Corporate Contracts Manager is responsible for managing the review, negotiation, and administration of customer-facing commercial agreements, with a primary focus on Standard Ground Handling Agreements (SGHAs).

Responsibilities

  • Support RFP processes, draft, review, and negotiate customer contracts (primarily SGHAs and cargo or ground handling agreements) using established Company playbooks
  • Negotiate contract terms directly with airline customers in coordination with the Commercial team
  • Manage the end-to-end contract workflow: intake, review, internal approvals, negotiation, execution, and repository management
  • Coordinate with internal subject matter experts (e.g., Operations, Safety, Finance, Insurance) to evaluate specific contract provisions
  • Manage SLAs and coordinate with operations leaders to review, update, and assess potential risks or penalties
  • Drive adoption of legal technology and AI-assisted review tools, including building, maintaining, and continuously improving AI contract review playbooks to reflect the Company's evolving commercial positions and risk appetite
  • Support adoption of CLMS system, including entering and tracking contract data within such system
  • Track and report on contract metrics, including cycle times, common negotiation issues, and customer-specific trends
  • Identify opportunities to improve and standardize contracting processes across lines of business
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for attendance policies and disciplinary procedures
  • Train supervisors and managers on attendance tracking systems and disciplinary processes
  • Address employee inquiries regarding attendance, points, and corrective actions
  • Collaboration with HR on escalated employee relations issues


Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contract management, contract administration, legal operations, or a paralegal role involving commercial agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to review, interpret, and negotiate complex commercial contracts
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects

  • Comfort working directly with external counterparties in a negotiation setting
  • Proficiency with AI-powered legal tools (experience with AI contract review platforms is strongly preferred)
  • Experience working with SharePoint and contract lifecycle management systems (Sirion preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organization and project management skills with demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Standard Ground Handling Agreements (SGHAs) or aviation and logistics industry contracts
  • Experience building or managing contract playbooks, clause libraries, or negotiation guidelines
  • Exposure to air cargo, ground handling, or airline operations
  • Background in process improvement, legal operations, or legal technology implementation


Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; J.D. preferred, but not required
