Full Job Description
Figma is hiring a Corporate Communications Manager to help us set a new standard for corporate communications at a public company. This role calls for range. You should be as comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are on X/Twitter. Youre capable of crafting campaigns around quarterly earnings and cultural moments. You can quickly learn and translate complex topics for a broader audience without dumbing it down. You embrace ambiguity, are collaborative by default, and are energized by the opportunity to build something new.
This is a full time role that can be held from our San Francisco or New York hub.
What youll do at Figma:
- Help define and drive Figmas corporate storytelling strategy end-to-end, from narrative development to execution across channels

- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business momentum into clear, compelling stories and campaigns
- Work closely with executives to shape narratives that resonate with business and financial audiences, from briefings to thought leadership
- Identify and develop breakthrough story angles that position Figma at the center of key industry, market and cultural conversations
- Stay close to the news cycle and broader zeitgeist while proactively creating opportunities that put Figma ahead of it
- Continue to grow your scope and influence as the company scales
Wed love to hear from you if you have:
- 7+ years of experience in in-house communications
- A track record of building and scaling communications programs from the ground up
- Strong business and cultural fluency, with the ability to translate complexity into clear, engaging narratives and pitches
- Experience operating in fast-paced environments where direction isnt always defined-and comfort creating it
- Demonstrated experience crafting a point of view on storytelling that goes beyond conventional PR approaches
While not required, its an added plus if you also have:
- An understanding of product design, software development and/or cloud-native applications.
- Experience navigating and explaining business concepts and issues with fluidity.
