Job Summary

As a Corporate Account Executive, you play a pivotal role as the trusted advisor to corporate and mid-market customers - driving outcomes, expanding relationships, and growing NetApp's business through its integrated cloud, data, storage, security, and AI platform across four focused motions: Hybrid Cloud, Cloud, Keystone, and Cyber.

This is a role for sellers who want real ownership, fast-moving deal cycles, and the opportunity to build something from the ground up.

Location: This position is open to candidates located in the Bay Area. This role requires a candidate to travel within your territory to attend customer and partner events in person.

Who You Are

- Develop a deep understanding of corporate and mid-market customers' strategies, growth priorities, IT modernization goals, and transformation pressures
- Connect these insights to NetApp's differentiated unified platform and solution area portfolio motions
- Act as a trusted advisor by combining business acumen, technical curiosity, and solution expertise to guide customers through data infrastructure decisions aligned with their business outcomes
- Demonstrate a strong hunting mentality by identifying whitespace opportunities in a high-velocity territory, including VMware displacement, cloud optimization, and workload-specific expansion across storage, cloud, and cyber
- Execute with rigor in a higher-volume deal environment by maintaining disciplined pipeline management, forecast accuracy, and MEDDICC-aligned qualification to compress deal cycles and maximize win rates
- Lead orchestration of an integrated pursuit team, including Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs), partners, and specialists, to ensure the customer experiences one cohesive team
- Drive post-sale handoff to Customer Success with a clear value realization plan tied to the original business case
- Activate and leverage the partner ecosystem to extend reach, accelerate deal velocity, and jointly pursue significant opportunities in the corporate segment

What You'll Do

- Understand hybrid cloud architectures, data platforms, and consumption economics
- Translate technology decisions into business impact for IT buyers, Finance leaders, and line-of-business decision makers in mid-market companies
- Be results-driven, resilient, and energized by velocity in a high-volume, fast-cycle territory
- Build pipeline from scratch while leveraging momentum from a growing GTM motion
- Identify VMware displacement opportunities, new workload targets, and net-new buyers in whitespace
- Convert customer pain into high-value deals aligned with NetApp's four portfolio motions
- Act as a credible, consultative seller by building and pitching value-based proposals
- Tailor discovery, storytelling, and ROI narratives for IT, Finance, Security, and business personas
- Build ROI and TCO models and structure deal economics with clarity and credibility
- Guide mid-market executives through financial decisions at their level
- Communicate crisply, timely, and persona-driven to simplify complexity and advance deals
- Leverage orchestration by activating ISRs, partners, and specialists as force multipliers
- Balance in-quarter deal execution with multi-quarter territory planning
- Build pipeline through proactive outreach, targeted campaigns, and partner-led sourcing
- Commit to customer satisfaction and solution adoption to drive retention, expansion, and referrals
- Maintain healthy long-term customer relationships in a reputation-sensitive segment
- Foster a culture of belonging where diverse perspectives fuel stronger outcomes

If you are a builder, a hunter, a closer, and someone who thrives in a culture where expectations are high and impact is nonnegotiable - this is your arena.
