Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience in construction.
• Experience with companies generating at least $75M annually.
• Knowledgeable in job costing, accounts payable, receivable, and financial statements.
• Hands-on experience with construction accounting processes like POs and contracts.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; CPA or CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, General Ledger, and financial reporting.
• Manage construction-related accounts payable processes and documentation.
• Oversee accounts receivable billing and customer account activities.
• Manage job costing and reconcile costs with the General Ledger.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
• Support WIP reporting and various job cost analyses.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and actual versus budget analysis.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reports and General Ledger.
• Develop effective internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on project-level financial issues.
• Assist with audits and regulatory compliance activities.
• Provide financial analysis to senior leadership.
