Then we're looking for talent like you to join our Advanced Contracting and Signing (ACS) Team.
What will your typical day look like?Our team hold a key role in contracting and negotiations for our most important accounts and opportunities. Your day-to-day activities will include managing complex negotiations and contracting activities, adding strategic value to stakeholders and firm leadership. Working in collaborative teams of subject matter advisors and business professionals, you will be involved in the negotiations of our client relationship agreements and statements of work, to deliver a better deal faster.
About the teamThe ACS is a growing team of specialized professionals with a passion for "Getting to Yes" and helping our business teams navigate the contracting process quicker and more efficiently for the firm's largest and most strategic opportunities. The team works with public and private sector teams from all of the Deloitte businesses and industries across Canada.
Enough about us, let's talk about youYou are someone with:
- Two to three years of experience supporting contracting for public and/or private sector clients, or supporting related sales lifecycle processes with transferrable skills.
- Proven experience coordinating sales, legal, and other subject matter experts in defining team roles, applying problem-solving techniques, and engaging in strategic planning to resolve roadblocks and enable more efficient negotiations and contracting.
- Strong background in interpreting and analyzing complex RFX documents (including Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, and Requests for Qualifications) to identify contracting considerations and issues, and in creating detailed plans to address client post-evaluation requirements.
- Proactive approach in identifying key actions and ensuring team accountability throughout the contracting process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with practitioners from diverse backgrounds, communicate with executive leadership, lead teams in strategic discussions, and collaborate with and influence others.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage negotiation schedules, prioritize tasks, and oversee multiple negotiations simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational and document management skills for medium- to large-sized documents, as well as the ability to coordinate with other disciplines such as Legal and Risk Management to work collaboratively and effectively on contracting documents.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint to support the creation and management of complex documents and presentations.
- Keen attention to detail and exceptional follow-up skills, with the ability to read situations accurately and adapt your style to achieve results.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability that enables you to quickly gain the trust of others in the contracting and negotiation process.
Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
