Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in procurement, process improvement, digital transformation, or related fields, with a focus on defining and standardizing global procurement processes.
  • Experience with end-to-end procurement processes, including experience defining procedures, workflows, and guidelines for procurement activities across multiple regions or functions.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Advanced degree or certifications in Procurement, Process Improvement, Contract management, or Information Technology.
  • Experience managing a repository of procurement policies and updating policies regularly to reflect changes.
  • Experience in general product management, contract management, or contract lifecycle management, and contract templates.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and experience driving change initiatives related to standardizing procurement policies and procedures.
  • Strategic thinking skills identifying long-term goals for standardizing procurement processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and IT teams to coordinate procurement systems integration and process automation. Stakeholder collaboration to design procurement processes and systems that enhance user experiences.

The Finance Operations team manages Google's cash transactions on a global basis and ensures that Google's incoming and outgoing cash processes are controlled, effective and efficient. As a member of this team, you'll find innovative ways to manage our complex set of transactions. You'll make processes more efficient and scalable, work to ensure the highest level of quality of our operations, and proactively minimize operational risk. Externally, you collaborate with our extended workforce partners and internally, you will collaborate across the multiple areas of the Financial Operations team.

Within the Google Procurement Organization, the Digital Experience team is responsible for enabling and ensuring a consistent approach across the entire GPO through deep data insights and agile simple processes and technology.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining, standardizing, and continuously improving GPO's capabilities through process and digital initiatives to ensure efficiency, consistency, and alignment with GPO goals.

Responsibilities
  • Define end-to-end procurement processes across multiple regions or product areas/functions globally, establish standardized procedures, workflows, and guidelines for various procurement activities.
  • Ensure that global procurement processes align with the overall strategic objectives and goals of GPO, collaborate with stakeholders to align processes with business needs and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation within procurement operations through the use of AI tooling. Evaluate, select, and recommend new technologies or AI capabilities to enhance procurement operations.
  • Develop strategic plans and roadmaps for the evolution and enhancement of procurement and contract lifecycle (CLM) systems and align technology initiatives with the long-term goals and objectives of GPO.
  • Manage contract lifecycle management (CLM) system enhancements and day to day vendor management of feature prioritization. Stakeholder management with various Legal, Operations, and Legal/Procurement Engineering teams.
