Job Requirements

POSITION: Continuous Improvement/Six Sigma Specialist

What You Will Do:
  • Drive the deployment and integration of Continuous Improvement methodologies across various sites to enhance operational excellence and meet business goals
  • Drive Continuous Improvement culture throughout the site
  • Partner with functional leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops, Kaizen events, and training sessions to foster a continuous improvement culture within the sites
  • Utilize tools and techniques (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Visual Management, Lean Six Sigma, etc...) to identify inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in defined tools and techniques, providing training and support to cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of Continuous Improvement initiatives and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Support the development and execution of site-level Improvement roadmaps, ensuring alignment with broader corporate objectives.
  • Work closely with multiple organizations to align corporate improvement goals

What You Will Bring:
  • A degree/diploma in Manufacturing, Operations or Business Management or a related technical field (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical) preferred with 10+ years of experience.
  • In lieu of a degree 12-15 years of Continuous Improvement experience would be considered
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies; Green Belt preferred
  • Proven track record of leading process improvement projects with quantifiable results.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.

Pay Range: $87K-$92K

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

This role is 100% on-site position located in Rockford, ILL
  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Travel requirements: Travel may be required To other facilities.

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
