Role Purpose:

Our design team is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Content Designer to join our innovative and collaborative team. We live and breathe product design and thrive on creating user experiences that truly stand out. If you have dedicated your craft at turning research into content that people love, you're the one we want. As a Content Designer, you'll be at the heart of improving our digital experience. Your task: to craft clear and concise content that enhances the user experience, using research, delightful language, and UX writing principles.

Is this role right for you?
  • Crafting compelling and user-centric content to elevate the overall user experience of Tangerine products
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product designers, developers, product owners, and other business stakeholders, to ensure that the content aligns with the overall client experience strategy
  • Conducting research and analysis to understand clients' needs, behaviors, and pain points, and using this insight to inform content decisions
  • Working with other UX writers and creative services to ensure consistency in tone and voice across all touchpoints
  • Advocating for accessibility and inclusive language practices to ensure that the content is usable and understandable for all Canadians
  • Contributing to the evolution and maintenance of the design system, ensuring that content guidelines and best practices are seamlessly integrated
  • Your mission: shape, influence, and nurture our design culture and process.You are able to plan design activities, set expectations on timing and balance creativity with constraints


Skills You Need to Succeed:
  • 5+ years of experience crafting content for digital experiences
  • Strong writing and editing abilities, with a focus on clarity, conciseness, and user-centric communication
  • Strong portfolio showcasing previous work, demonstrating the ability to create effective, delightful, and engaging content for user interfaces
  • Understanding of accessibility best practices and the ability to create inclusive and accessible content for all users
  • Meticulous in design quality assurance
  • Top-notch communication skills and ability to work smoothly with fellow designers, developers and business stakeholders
  • Experience in a financial institution and the ability to conduct user research and analyze user behaviors are a bonus
