About the PositionDexis is seeking Content and Visualization Lead-Communications Specialist to support anticipated programming with the Department of Labor (DOL). This opportunity will provide comprehensive support the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) in providing comprehensive operational, analytical, and program support services to develop and support the Artificial Intelligence Workforce Hub.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities- Leads the development of the Hub's public- and stakeholder-facing outputs, including reports, issue briefs, data visualizations, dashboards, presentations, event materials, and web-ready content as directed by the Government.
- Translates complex analytical findings into accurate, accessible, and compelling written and visual materials by collaborating closely with researchers and Government staff.
- Identifies key audience needs and tailors content formats, framing, and dissemination approaches accordingly.
- Produces a range of content products-including one-pagers, fact sheets, and presentation materials-designed for diverse audiences with varying technical expertise.
- Develops data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to effectively communicate quantitative insights.
- Communicates complex analytical findings clearly to policymakers, businesses, education and workforce stakeholders, and the public.
- Develops digital and website content grounded in research and data analysis.
- Applies strong analytical writing, evidence translation, visual communication, and content development skills to support Hub outputs.
- Leverages experience producing materials grounded in quantitative analysis; familiarity with labor markets, workforce issues, technology's economic impacts, or AI-related topics is preferred.
Qualifications - A minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in policy communications, analytical writing, evidence translation, public-facing content development, or related work.
- Demonstrated experience communicating complex information to audiences of varying technical capacity, including through reports, briefs, presentations, digital materials, dashboards, newsletters, or other dissemination formats.
- Demonstrated experience developing written and visual materials grounded in data, research, or other analytical material.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with tailoring or supporting dissemination of quantitative research materials to different audiences.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree, with a master's degree preferred, in communications, public policy, economics, journalism, design, social science, or a related field.
- Experience supporting website-ready materials and short-form communications materials is required.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools is required; familiarity with data visualization in a policy, research, or governmental context is preferred.
