What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Chapter Lead for Adoption and Accessibility within the Experience Design Chapter Area, the Consultant supports the delivery of new applications and features by developing WalkMe in-app guidance that supports digital adoption, communications and training for banking centre applications. The Consultant is responsible for helping the business as a whole drive user adoption and communicate new features. They'll work closely with stakeholders throughout the organization, including product owners and Training and Development to create and execute a holistic strategy with a strong focus on user experience.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you'll succeed

  • Collaboration- You'll partner with business stakeholders to understand initiatives and assess the application challenges. You'll collaborate with business partners to ensure timely delivery of WalkMe in-app guidance.
  • Solution planning and analysis- You'll become a WalkMe expert and plan in-app guidance that simplifies the user experience. You'll assess employee needs and new features, design and build WalkMe solutions, and iterate and improve to drive optimal outcomes. You'll seek feedback and obtain consensus from stakeholders for proposed solutions and updates.
  • Content and solution creation - You'll create and update content and WalkMe solutions to support new features and functionality for our internal applications to ensure best in class digital user experience. You'll make sure content meets CIBC editorial, brand and accessibility requirements and standards. You'll help build and maintain application-specific content guidelines for WalkMe solutions. You'll help coordinate the translation of our content through an approved translation vendor. You'll understand the technical possibilities and limitations of the banking centre applications in order to troubleshoot and maintain implementations over time.
  • Communication - You'll use your powers of communication and consultation to speak to your solutions with authority. Your solid interpersonal skills are a must for collaborating with stakeholders, product owners and team members.
  • Team building- You'll share product knowledge with the WalkMe team and assist with prioritization and assignment of project-based initiatives.
