Full Job Description
What you'll be doing

As a Consultant, Learning Technology & Innovation (LTI) you will partner with internal and external stakeholders (including senior leadership), to translate business requirements into scalable data models, automated workflows, and reporting solutions. Working closely with the Learning Operations Leadership team, you will help build and maintain a trusted enterprise learning data foundation and drive the technology and automation behind CIBC's Learning Strategy and the SBU's strategic priorities.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.

How you'll succeed

  • Data modelling & integration - Design and maintain enterprise data models, reconcile and connect fragmented data sources, and build a single trusted view to power reporting and decision-making.
  • Automation & solution building - Engineer automated workflows and solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform to eliminate manual effort and scale operational execution.
  • Analytics & reporting - Build dashboards, KPIs, and self-serve reporting views that shift the team from static reporting to insight-driven decision-making.
  • Technical consulting - Conduct needs assessments to identify critical technical requirements and determine the optimal data and automation architecture.
  • Continuous improvement - Support the execution of the CIBC Learning Strategy by identifying and championing new technologies, automation, and AI.

Who you are

  • You're technically deep. You can demonstrate hands-on experience across Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform; SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Excel (including Power Query); to automate workflows and integrate data across systems.
  • You think in data. You're comfortable with data models, reconciliation, matching logic, metadata and taxonomy, and turning fragmented information into a single source of truth.
  • You act like an owner. You thrive when you're empowered to take the lead, go above and beyond, and deliver results.
  • You are a problem solver. You enjoy investigating complex problems and making sense of information to find innovative, scalable solutions.
  • Values matter to you. You bring your real self to work, and you live our values - trust, teamwork and accountability.
