What you'll be doing

The Digital team supports CIBC Investor’s Edge and Wealth platforms by creating thoughtful, seamless experiences that help clients manage their investing with confidence. As a Consultant, User Experience, you’ll contribute to the digital roadmap for Online Brokerage and the Wealth app, with a focus on elevating the Investor’s Edge client experience. You’ll continuously assess end-to-end digital journeys across onboarding, research, execution, and monitoring to identify opportunities for improvement. Working closely with partners across user experience, product, research, analytics, and technology, you’ll help shape and optimize digital experiences that are intuitive, dynamic, and client-focused. You’ll use data, research, competitive insights, and client feedback to recommend both short- and long-term solutions that address client needs and business priorities. You’re comfortable presenting your ideas to leadership and building support for recommendations that improve the overall digital experience.

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $75,870 to $104,320.

The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles.

In addition to base pay, compensation for this role includes participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.

How you'll succeed

  • Journey Optimization - Continuously review the Online Brokerage and mobile app experience through a digital customer journey lens, and recommend short- and long-term improvements rooted in research, data, and client feedback.

  • Client Insight - Monitor client feedback, identify pain points and irritants, and translate findings into practical recommendations that improve the Investor’s Edge digital experience.

  • Design Strategy - Create interactive prototypes, user flows, and experience concepts using tools such as Figma to help visualize and validate opportunities.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with other user experience disciplines, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver recommendations that strengthen Wealth tools and digital client journeys.

  • Insight-Driven Decision Making - Use analytics, user research, customer feedback, and performance metrics to uncover insights and support continuous improvement against established key performance indicators.
