Location: Eau Claire, WI | Supporting Western Wisconsin & Minneapolis Region

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager II to join our growing Western Wisconsin team. This role is ideal for a construction professional who thrives on building relationships, leading multiple projects, and serving as a trusted partner for customers, project teams, and trade partners. You'll manage a diverse portfolio of work across healthcare, industrial, food and beverage, automotive, renovation, and commercial environments while helping support some of the most significant growth opportunities in the region.

Working closely with regional leadership, you'll serve as the lead project manager on multiple concurrent projects throughout Western Wisconsin and the Minneapolis region. This position offers the opportunity to join a strong, growing team supported by long-term anchor clients and a healthy pipeline of future work. You'll have the ability to make a visible impact, mentor developing team members, and help shape the continued growth of Boldt's presence throughout the region.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field; equivalent construction management experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressively responsible commercial construction project management experience.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Experience managing project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, cost control, change management, and monthly reporting.
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, contract administration, procurement processes, risk management, scheduling, and project controls.
  • Experience leading project teams and coordinating owners, design partners, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
  • Demonstrated success developing and maintaining strong customer relationships and serving as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ability to independently manage projects ranging from small renovations to projects valued at approximately $5M+, with exposure to larger projects preferred.
  • Experience balancing and prioritizing multiple projects, customers, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of an organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software platforms used for budgeting, scheduling, document control, and project execution.
  • Self-directed, proactive leader who is comfortable making decisions, solving problems, and operating with limited day-to-day oversight.
  • Ability and willingness to maintain a regular presence on project sites throughout Western Wisconsin and the Minneapolis region.

Compensation

Target Hiring Range: $115,000 - $150,000 annually.

Boldt recognizes that experience, expertise, and specialized skills create value. The target hiring range for this position is $115,000 - $150,000 annually; however, compensation is determined based on qualifications, experience, certifications, geographic market conditions, internal equity, and business considerations. In addition to base compensation, employees may be eligible for incentive compensation and participation in applicable company benefit programs.
