Basic Qualifications:
Program & Project Management:
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid documents to understand project scope and requirements.
• Participate in owner, design, subcontractor, and internal project meetings; communicate action items and follow up on commitments.
Reporting & Analysis:
• Coordinate submittals, shop drawings, material data, samples, and approvals with architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors.
• Track procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and long-lead items.
Compliance & Quality Support:
• Conduct or support site inspections to verify work quality, code compliance, safety requirements, and alignment with approved plans.
• Support quality-control processes, including punch lists, testing, inspections, and closeout documentation.
• Promote compliance with site safety plans, environmental requirements, and applicable regulations.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Assist with cost control by tracking budgets, commitments, invoices, labor, materials, and change-order pricing.
• Coordinate work between subcontractors, vendors, field supervisors, and design teams to resolve conflicts and keep work progressing.
• Help resolve field issues, design conflicts, constructability concerns, and unforeseen conditions.
• Prepare project closeout materials such as as-built drawings, operations and maintenance manuals, warranties, training records, and final turnover packages.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Work is performed primarily outdoors and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions and uneven terrain.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Coursework or demonstrated knowledge in construction methods, construction documents, scheduling, estimating, project controls, building codes, and safety.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, contracts, and technical drawings.
Work Environment:
Work is performed primarily in a climate-controlled environment.
