Full Job Description
Lead the safe execution of natural gas, infrastructure, and industrial construction projects from planning through closeout. As the on-site construction leader, you9ll be responsible for safety, quality, schedule, cost performance, and contractor execution.

Level placement is based on experience, project complexity, and leadership scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead field construction activities and serve as the primary site representative
  • Manage construction planning, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration
  • Oversee contractor execution, performance, and compliance
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Commissioning teams
  • Identify and mitigate construction risks, issues, and change requests
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct construction inspections, audits, and quality reviews
  • Support project closeout, turnover documentation, and lessons learned


Experience by Level

Construction Manager III
  • Leads construction execution for projects and major work scopes
  • Supports planning, estimating, contractor selection, and QA/QC activities
  • Leads field execution and inspection teams


Senior Construction Manager
  • Leads large, complex construction projects, typically valued at $50M+
  • Manages multiple contractors and accelerated project schedules
  • Drives project planning, cost control, reporting, and issue resolution
  • Provides leadership to construction and inspection teams


Staff Construction Manager
  • Leads large-scale or highly complex projects and programs
  • Accountable for overall construction strategy and project delivery
  • Develops construction standards, quality programs, and best practices
  • Leads contracting strategy, risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment
  • Mentors and develops construction professionals

Minimum Qualifications by level

Senior Construction Manager

  • 5+ years supporting large-scale projects ($50M+)
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification


Staff Construction Manager
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 12+ years of related construction experience
  • 7+ years supporting large or mega-projects


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor9s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Natural gas pipeline, processing, industrial facility, or infrastructure construction experience
  • Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or power generation projects
  • Knowledge of construction technologies, pipeline systems, and industry best practices

  • Risk identification, problem solving, and decision making

Work Environment

This is a field-based position that requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and active construction environments.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work at heights for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (team lift for heavier items)
  • Ability to use hand tools and required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Valid driver9s license with an acceptable driving record required
