What You'll Do:As a Construction Engineer III, you'll be responsible for construction planning and coordination, establishing and managing the Construction Planning Program (CPP), and ensuring alignment with project stakeholders. You will oversee multiple projects, working closely with construction management and implementation contractors to meet quality standards, schedules, and deliverables. Your problem-solving skills will shine as you identify issues and develop innovative solutions, all while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Required Skills:- BS/MS in Engineering
- Strong coordination and interface capabilities
- Proven experience in construction engineering or related roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly
- Ability to work on multiple projects of varying size and complexity
- Sound decision-making skills and problem-solving aptitude
- Integrity and reliability, with a track record of honoring commitments
Nice to Have Skills:- Experience with construction planning programs and tools
- Previous experience interfacing between construction and engineering teams
- Knowledge of project management practices
- Ability to mentor or lead team members
Preferred Education and Experience:- Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering
- Prior experience in construction engineering, ideally in related or similar contexts
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Additional Requirements:- Work Schedule: 6/10's workweek
- Local candidates preferred; relocation or travel may be considered for qualified candidates
