Job DescriptionMortenson is seeking an experienced
Electrical Manager II to join our Solar group, to provide electrical technical support throughout construction projects, interacting with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment with professionalism and efficiency.

Location: Must be open to any location in the continental United States.
Travel: This is a 100% travel position; locations may vary based on the project. Mortenson hires for a career and not a project. When your project is complete you will be assigned to another project.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide technical electrical support to crews and subcontractors
- Supervise self-perform crews
- Identify and maintain a list of qualified electrical contractors and engineers
- Review design documents for conformance and resolve issues
- Implement best practices and low-cost alternatives; keep clients informed
- Coordinate with departments to support project schedules
- Work with Project Managers on budgeting, forecasting, and managing resources
- Coach, mentor, and train field personnel
- Implement Mortenson's Zero Injury Safety Program
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field
- Minimum eight years of electrical construction management and/or electrical design experience
- Minimum two years of experience with project completion from mobilization to turnover
- Proficiency in medium and high voltage technical knowledge
- Specialized knowledge/experience in electrical control, substations, t-line, etc.
- Knowledge of NEC code and NE safety code
- Strong teamwork, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Detail-oriented to manage multiple project tasks
- Basic understanding of construction law and business practices
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, Project, and web applications
- Positive, professional attitude with strong customer service skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
- Active listening skills and effective communication
- Ability to travel up to 100%

The base pay range for this role is $144,300 MIN - $216,500 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
