What You'll Do

The Total Rewards team seeks an innovative Compensation Partner to support the analytics, administration, and implementation of our compensation philosophy and strategy. You will manage multiple projects, provide data-driven insights, and partner with stakeholders to solve compensation challenges.

Location: Daily onsite presence at our Headquarters in San Jose, CA in alignment with our Flexible Work policy

Reports to: Director Compensation

Key Responsibilities
  • Key Responsibility:
    • Compensation Strategy & Advisory
      • Act as a trusted strategic partner to HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders, providing data-driven guidance to address compensation-related issues and provide solutions that support business goals.
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners and gains a deep understanding of the talent within the assigned Business Units.
    • Market Benchmarking & Analysis
      • Conduct competitive benchmarking, market pricing, and job evaluation activities.
      • Perform pay competitiveness analyses; manage the benchmarking process to ensure programs stay competitive and equitable.
      • Translate market data and internal insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
      • Have genuine interest to leverage AI to automate and optimize
    • Annual Compensation Program Management
      • Manage one or more annual compensation processes, from development through complete execution, including salary review, short/long-term bonus planning and promotions.
      • Build robust data models, reporting dashboards, governance tools and executive-ready review summary to support each planning cycle.
      • Support the design and evolution of compensation programs, including salary structures, short-term and long-term incentive plans.
    • Compensation Systems Ownership
      • Be heavily involved in system configuration and testing for HRMS compensation related processes
      • Partner with HRMS Specialist, translating strategy and vision into system design and workflows, ensuring data integrity, scalable and sustainable design, and excellent user experience.
    • Communication & Stakeholder Management
      • Contributing to the implementation and communication of compensation policies and practices. Create clear communication materials and training sessions to educate managers and internal partners on compensation policies and programs.
      • Act as a consultant on policy design, ensuring fairness, equity, and compliance across all programs.

What You Bring
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in compensation analysis and/or program design.
  • Proven track record in conducting compensation benchmarking, salary structure design and bonus/incentive planning
  • Strong understanding of broad-based compensation programs
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading/managing/administering companywide annual compensation programs
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating closely with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders
  • Advanced Excel modeling, scenario analysis and data visualization skills. Ability to handle large, complex data set and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences, including senior leadership
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS (Workday, etc.); Workday experience is a strong plus
  • Flexible, proactive, comfortable with ambiguity with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Impeccable level of discretion, confidentiality and attention to details
