Position Overview

The Compensation Analyst Senior plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation programs to attract, retain, and motivate top talent. This position requires expertise in analyzing compensation data, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic recommendations to align pay practices with organizational goals. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of compensation practices, and the ability to handle complex projects with minimal supervision.

Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
• Analyze, maintain and develop competitive compensation structures, including pay grades, ranges and career leveling.
• Lead the annual salary review process, including budgeting, analysis, and communication.
• Partner with HR leadership to align compensation programs with business objectives.
• Monitor trends and best practices in compensation to ensure competitive positioning.
• Conduct job evaluations to determine appropriate pay levels and classifications.
• Perform benchmarking studies and salary surveys to maintain market competitiveness.
• Analyze internal pay equity and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Ensure compensation practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., FLSA, EEO).
• Prepare and submit required compliance reports.
• Maintain accurate documentation of compensation plans and job descriptions and provide governance.
• Create and present detailed compensation reports and dashboards for executive leadership.
• Provide insights through data analytics on pay practices, trends, and program effectiveness.
• Serve as a compensation subject matter expert and advisor to HR Business Partners and leadership.
• Conduct training sessions for managers and employees on compensation practices and policies.
• Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and Finance teams to align overall rewards strategy.

Education, Training, Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in compensation analysis or HR roles with a focus on compensation.
• Strong understanding of federal and state labor laws related to compensation.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, or similar) preferred
• Experience with compensation tools or platforms (e.g., PayScale, MarketPay, or similar) preferred.

Certificates, Registrations, Licenses:
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification preferred.
• Valid Oklahoma driver's license, or the ability to convert within 30 days for those with an out of state driver's license that are an Oklahoma resident.

Physical/Mental Requirements & Working Conditions:
• Work is performed in an office setting.

Other information:
• Position is located at the Administrative Center in Chouteau, OK.or the Engineering & Technology Center in Tulsa, OK.
• Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications
