Full Job Description
Role description:

Arcadis is seeking an experienced on-site Commercial Manager to lead the commercial and financial management of large-scale semiconductor EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) projects in Boise, Idaho.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in complex industrial or high-tech manufacturing projects, with deep expertise in cost control, contract management, and financial forecasting within EPCM environments.

Role accountabilities:
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, and cost control for multi-million dollar projects.
  • Partner with Project Manager and/or Project Director to ensure that project delivery is contractually compliant while minimizing risk to Arcadis and Client.
  • Support fast-track project execution with real-time financial insights and decisions.
  • Oversee financial performance, risk identification, and mitigation.
  • Oversee contract administration for client agreements, subcontract, and vendor agreements.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risk of claims and facilitate early resolution of potential issues.
  • Manage change orders, claims, and commercial negotiations.
  • Partner with engineering and construction teams to align cost, schedule, and scope.
  • Oversee and support procurement, project controls and accounting teams.
  • Drive cash flow, billing, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and corporate requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline or experience.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in project commercial management, project controls, or cost management within EPC/EPCM or construction environments.
  • Proven track record managing large, complex capital project budgets and forecasts
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced construction environment.
  • Experience supporting semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or other high-tech projects strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with ERP and Project Management software (e.g., Procore, ACC, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong expertise in contract management, including claims, variations, and dispute resolution.
  • Experience with managing multiple contract types (unit rate, lump sum, etc).
  • Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.
