Commercial FP&A Manager

Department: Accounting & Finance

Compensation: $140,000 - $176,000 / year

Description

This role will partner closely with Sales Leadership to provide actionable insights, enhance decision-making, and improve visibility into revenue and margin drivers. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Price-Volume-Mix (PVM) analysis, budgeting at a granular level, and monthly performance evaluation.

How You Will Help:

Business Partnership & Collaboration
  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to Sales Leadership, supporting pricing strategies, customer negotiations, and commercial initiatives
  • Translate financial insights into clear, actionable recommendations for non-financial stakeholders
  • Participate in regular sales reviews, pipeline discussions, and forecasting processes

Planning & Budgeting
  • Lead the development of the annual budget and periodic forecasts across customers and product lines
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models that capture revenue, margin, and volume assumptions
  • Partner with sales and operations teams to align financial targets with commercial strategies

Performance Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze monthly financial results, identifying key drivers of revenue and margin variances versus budget and forecast
  • Deliver timely, accurate reporting packages with clear commentary on business performance
  • Monitor KPIs across customer segments and product lines to track trends and highlight risks/opportunities

Price-Volume-Mix (PVM) Analysis
  • Continuously develop PVM frameworks to explain revenue and margin fluctuations
  • Provide deep insights into pricing effectiveness, volume trends, and product/customer mix impacts
  • Support pricing strategy optimization and margin improvement initiatives

Process Improvement & Data Management
  • Enhance financial reporting tools, dashboards, and data accuracy

  • Ensure consistency and transparency in financial methodologies across the commercial organization


What You Will Bring:

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $140,000.00 - $176,000.00 USD annually*.
