Full Job Description
Overall purpose of role:

Responsible for the day-to-day administration and optimisation of commercial digital platforms, including CRM, Product Information Management (PIM), and SAP Commerce Cloud systems, ensuring they effectively support business and commercial objectives.

Accountable for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and quality of product and commercial data across IDEX MPT, driving adherence to established data governance standards and best practices. Oversees the end-to-end management of data, from website capture and customer interactions through to CRM and PIM systems, ensuring information is accurate, consistent, and actionable.

Plays a key role in enabling commercial excellence by ensuring digital systems operate efficiently, supporting informed decision-making, expanding organisational knowledge, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with teams across MPT to identify data requirements, storage locations and current processes. Alongside Director of Digital Transformation, support the design and delivery of a future state, that is accessible, secure and future proofed.
  • Own product data quality and governance across the MPT systems - ensuring that product attributes, taxonomy, and imagery are clean, consistent, and ready to power e-commerce.
  • Design and enforce platform standards across MPT Digital platforms and driving adoption - including EMEA, Americas and emerging markets.
  • Design and set standards for MPT knowledge hub content, site and content governance.
  • PIM Strategy - manage the PIM operating model and work with product teams to enrich product data.
  • Measure usage of all tools, performance and adoption across MPT.
  • Manage users for each of the commercial systems, working to enable new users and remove exited employees.

PIM & MPT Knowledge Hub Management
  • Grow the Salsify product information management (PIM) platform working with the Product team to populate and maintain all product data.
  • Define the PIM operating model - who owns product data in Salsify, how updates flow, what approval workflows exist.
  • Train data holders on the PIM workflow and hold them accountable to it.
  • Work with content owners to add/update content and maintain accurate information that feeds AI Agents in the Knowledge hub (SharePoint).
  • Define and govern content management for the MPT knowledge Hub, from ownership to approvals and version control.
  • Work with wider global teams to update and maintain AI Agents.

CRM - Dynamics 365
  • Update and maintain lead and web data flowing from Hubspot to Dynamics, including automated lead assignment rules.
  • Assess and improve data capture from lead to contact and Accounts across the full business cycle. Identify opportunities for improvement and work with teams to make it happen.
  • Manage development tickets for CRM developments, working with corporate CRM team to implement new change requests.

Data Hygiene
  • Set data standards - what fields are required, what format, what values are valid - so product data is consistent across JDE, D365 CRM, SAP Commerce Cloud, Bynder DAM.
  • Along with the Director of Digital Transformation, design and deliver training programmes for existing teams and new starters to improve data hygiene, population and management.
  • Take actions to clean data identified as either inconsistent or incorrect on an ongoing basis to ensure data is accurate, complete and reliable.

Analytics and reporting
  • Support the delivery core digital KPIs - from acquisition to ecommerce, covering CRM, portal adoption, lead generation.
  • Partner with the IDEX Customer Data Team on IDEX MPT analytics standards and reporting infrastructure.

Platform standards
  • Work with the Director of Digital Transformation to establish and enforce data and assets governance policies across commercial systems, CRM, PIM, Ecommerce, Knowledge Hub.

Skills & Abilities:
  • Project discipline - maintains organized, transparent project boards and consistently delivers work on schedule without requiring escalation from stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder translation - converts ambiguous business requests into clear, developer-actionable requirements, reducing back-and-forth across sprint cycles.
  • Platform governance - comfortable owning documentation, standards, and audit processes that keep digital properties consistent and compliant across multiple brands.
  • Change management - understands that tool adoption is as much about communication and training as it is about configuration.
  • Cross-functional credibility - builds trust with both business stakeholders and technical developers, able to hold their own in both a requirements review and a sprint retrospective.
  • Data-oriented - comfortable pulling platform metrics and using them to tell a clear story to leadership.


Experience:
  • Proven experience of using product data management tools, or product information management (PIM) systems - updating PIM databases, adding property information and creating workflows.
  • Proven knowledge of CRM systems - building dashboards and reports. Identifying data issues and working with CRM developers to guide new development and resolve issues.
  • Track record coordinating with cross-functional data owners (product managers, marketing, sales) to enforce data standards.
  • Comfortable working in a multi-BU or multi-brand environment where product data governance is fragmented.
  • Experience of working within manufacturing or engineering would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience working with Dynamics 365 and Salsify PIM would be beneficial but not essential.


Location and any travel requirements:

Remote, but must be commutable to our Waterloo office, ON. International travel will be required to visit MPT sites in Evesham, UK and Middleborough, MA, USA.

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $89,400.00 - $134,200.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
