Full Job Description
ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences LLC is seeking a Cloud Software Developer with full-stack experience to support a mission-critical application for NASA's Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN) program. The ideal candidate combines strong cloud development skills with an appreciation for engineering-driven environments, including familiarity with mechanical, aerospace, or systems engineering concepts.

Location: Washington DC. Hybrid (2 days in office and 3 days remote)

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain AWS-native applications using services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and EC2

Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in aerospace, mechanical, or systems engineering supporting complex or mission-driven systems
  • Familiarity with NASA systems engineering processes and lifecycle reviews (e.g., PDR, CDR)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS)
  • Knowledge of authentication/authorization frameworks (e.g., OAuth2, Cognito)
  • Experience developing in Rust and/or Go is a plus
  • Experience with automated testing and performance optimization
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
