The Cloud Platform Engineer delivers technical solutions that align with business needs and industry best practices. They troubleshoot and resolve issues across private, public, and hybrid cloud environments, execute projects, and monitor system performance and availability. This role is responsible for securing, maintaining, and overseeing the health of the cloud environments managed by Temple Health. The engineer conducts utilization reviews, establishes fault notification processes, analyzes data to identify trends, and implements automated, proactive measures to prevent application downtime. Equivalent certifications from other major cloud platforms may be considered.
This role requires three days on-site (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) at Temple Health Women's and Families Hospital.

General Experience in the design, building, and support of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud solutions Required
General Experience and high proficiency in managing cloud resources including storage, compute, and networking Required
General Experience with strong understanding of network technologies including firewalls, proxies, load balancers, and network security groups (NSGs) Required
General Experience and familiarity with protocols and standards including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, BGP, TLS, SSH, LDAP, Kerberos, NTP, CIFS, and NFS Required
General Experience and knowledge of operating systems such as Windows Server, and Linux, with experience in performance optimization and troubleshooting especially at it relates to Cloud deployments Required
General Experience and understanding of virtualization and containerization technologies as AVS, VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes Required
General Experience managing and executing project tasks Required
General Experience and expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex issues involving integrated applications Required
