    • Cluster upgrades

    • Node management

    • Add-on management

    • Observability integration

    • Resilience improvements

    • Capacity planning

  • Support Azure Kubernetes Service, OpenShift, Tanzu, or similar shared platform services

  • Partner with infrastructure and application teams to onboard services onto the platform

  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform hosting, connectivity, and integration issues

  • Support monitoring, logging, alerting, and platform health management

  • Improve deployment consistency using:

    • Helm-based configuration

    • Git-based workflows

    • Infrastructure as Code

  • Establish and maintain platform documentation, standards, and support procedures

  • Evaluate and implement platform capabilities that improve scalability and ease of operations

  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with GitLab, Azure DevOps and CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)

  • 3+ years of experience with Cloud, Containerization and Automation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience hosting enterprise COTS/OSS applications on Kubernetes

  • Experience with Helm charts, operators, and container image lifecycle management
