Position Description:

****Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance preferred. Candidates eligible to obtain Secret Clearance (typically requiring 10+ years of residency in Canada) may also be considered.****

We are seeking a Senior Cloud & DevOps Architect to design, implement, and support secure multi-cloud infrastructure environments. The successful candidate will lead infrastructure automation, cloud deployment, and platform engineering initiatives while ensuring reliability, security, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on architect with strong experience in cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code, automation, CI/CD, and secure enterprise deployments.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Design and implement secure multi-cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Architect and deploy cloud-native and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using OpenTofu/Terraform and Ansible.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and delivery.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure successful infrastructure deployment and integration.
• Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
• Support platform reliability, scalability, and security best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud architecture and DevOps practices.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 10+ years of IT experience.
• Experience with multi-cloud/hybrid-cloud environments, including AWS and at least one other cloud platform.
• Strong hands-on experience with OpenTofu/Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience deploying and managing infrastructure in secure enterprise environments.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server administration and PowerShell.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with GitLab, Packer, OpenBao/HashiCorp Vault, and VMware.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and AWS CloudWatch.
• Experience working in security-sensitive or government environments.
• Prosci ADKAR certification (nice to have).

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $120,000-$170,000 This role is an existing vacancy.
