The Cloud Engineer will be part of the "Cloud Platform Engineering" team that is responsible for the Cloud adoption strategy and developing platform components/services for the broad enterprise use.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
  • Develop, document, and maintain cloud platform, cloud services and components to enable secure enterprise-wide use of cloud common functionality
  • Development of software/pipelines for enabling and automating provisioning, maintenance and deployment for cloud platform and related components. (Infrastructure as Code - Terraform)
  • Jointly work together with the team to
    • Define Reference Cloud Architecture
    • Establish mid and long-term vision, strategy, and roadmaps for the Cloud platform capabilities required by Tangerine
    • Design and build highly available and scalable infrastructure
    • Present and communicate patterns, vision and technology roadmap to other stakeholders
  • Support the teams for Google Cloud Platform design patterns, best practices, and security considerations. Assist teams to develop/onboard their solutions on Google Cloud Platform, help for breaking-down, scoping, and estimation of tasks
  • Explore new Cloud technologies and services, support the evolution and availability of the services enabled on the platform
  • Enable controls and practices to enforce that applications will meet non-functional requirements (availability, integrity, reliability, disaster recovery etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams for monitoring and optimizing cloud infrastructure and performance
