About the RoleWe are looking for unusually strong engineers who can ship broadly across the stack and also bring deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and high-throughput production environments.
We want builders who can contribute to product features, backend systems, and AI workflows, while owning and scaling the cloud infrastructure that powers them.
Responsibilities- Design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure across compute, storage, and networking
- Own deployment, orchestration, and reliability of AI image editing systems
- Build and maintain backend services and high-throughput pipelines
- Manage training and inference infrastructure (GPU workloads, scheduling, cost optimization)
- Improve model-serving and media-processing workflows for speed and reliability
- Optimize systems for latency, throughput, and cost at scale
- Improve observability, debugging, and incident response systems
- Build internal tooling, automation, and CI/CD pipelines
Implement / Improve Systems For:- User-facing AI image editing tools at scale
- High-volume media processing pipelines
- Distributed training and inference systems
- Our photo editing model style marketplace
- Automated video editing workflows
Qualifications- You are a high-agency builder who likes ownership
- You can operate across infrastructure, backend, and product systems
- You have demonstrated exceptional ability in a meaningful way
- You may be a founder, CTO, founding engineer, or owned a core platform or infrastructure system
- You have strong experience with cloud systems, distributed systems, or high-scale infrastructure
Required SkillsImportant: We do want specialists, but not strict specialists who only operate in isolated infrastructure silos.
If your work is purely infra with no connection to product or system impact, this is probably not the right fit.
Strong backgrounds we're looking for:
- Founder / co-founder / CTO / founding engineer experience
- Zero-to-one infrastructure or platform building
- Ownership of critical production systems at scale
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and distributed systems
- Managing high-throughput systems, GPU workloads, or large-scale data pipelines
- Real systems in production with real users
- Exceptional open-source or systems work that demonstrates real technical horsepower

Compensation$180,000 - $280,000+ base salary + equity and bonuses
Final salary will be based on a number of factors including level, relevant experience, skills, and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not bonuses.
