Job Description & Summary
In product management, you will be the general manager of commercial and internal products. You will sit at the intersection of business, user experience, and the technologies that solve our customer and end-user problems; confirming they meet market demands and drive business growth. You will design, develop and manage activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. Your involvement will last throughout all stages of a product's lifecycle including modifications, upgrades, maintenance of the product or product line. For commercial products, it also includes commercialization, go-to-market planning, sales, and other key business support activities.

Meaningful you'll be a part of

As a GenAI Product Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. As part of the Software and Product Innovation team you manage the development and utilization of technology to drive product management initiatives. As a Manager you lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining elevated standards, while embracing technology and innovation to enhance delivery and encourage others to do the same. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and participate to the integration of new AI/GenAI-based solutions with our IT business teams.
  • Define the AI/GenAI roadmap based on business needs.
  • Work closely with our architecture, infrastructure and operational teams to ensure evolution of the AI Platform.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and resource needs for generative AI initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with several profiles with AI/GenAI skills to balance pace of innovation with product reliability
  • Be a bridge builder across technology, product, and operations teams
  • Supervise developers and tech lead working on the AI/GenAI activities.
  • Follow PwC IT, PM and Data Governance best-practices and guidelines as well as meet design requirements and project timeline.
  • Perform technology watch on AI/GenAI domain.
  • Assist Helpdesk team and Business as L3 Support for the managed products.


Experiences and skills you'll use to solve

  • Manage various internal/ external clients, stakeholders and other network teams
  • Bachelor's degree or several years of experience in computer science, data science, software development.
  • Solid understanding of common programming languages
  • Strong understanding of software architecture patterns & application development
  • Have a technical background in AI/ML with good understanding of generative models
  • Open to discover new tools & products, in the field of AI/GenAI
  • Proactive, able to challenge and propose new solutions
  • Basic understanding of the Web, Network and Database administration understanding

The salary range for this position is $112,400 - $162,400. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
