How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Ensure patient safety by reviewing and optimizing complex medication orders for appropriate selection and dosing in specialized areas (e.g., oncology, cardiology).
  • Review and prevent drug-related problems to resolve potential and actual medication issues, safeguarding patient care.
  • Serve as a clinical expert, providing essential drug information and consultative guidance to physicians and clinical teams.
  • Oversee all technical pharmacy personnel, ensuring the accurate compounding and dispensing of medications for optimal patient delivery.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Pharmacist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required.


Education:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
