Job description:

Credentials: Licensed clinician required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD or equivalent)
Location: North County San Diego (Fallbrook, CA)

A growing behavioral health organization is seeking a Clinical Director to oversee their adolescent residential program. This role provides clinical leadership across several established programs and partners closely with operations to support strong outcomes, consistency in care, and a healthy team environment.

This is a hands-on leadership position focused on clinical quality, supervision, and program integrity. The role carries a small caseload and requires regular involvement with staff, clients, and clinical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical oversight across the entire residential program
  • Supervise therapists, associate-level clinicians, interns, and case management staff
  • Conduct individual and group clinical supervision, peer reviews, and case consultations
  • Review and approve admissions, ensuring appropriate level of care and clinical fit
  • Support treatment planning, documentation quality, and overall clinical standards
  • Provide guidance during clinical situations, including crisis support and safety planning
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and ongoing staff development
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to strengthen team performance and client outcomes
  • Collaborate with admissions, outreach, and other departments as needed
