Client Partner - Healthcare & Life Sciences

Category: Software Development/ Engineering

Main location: United States, Massachusetts, Burlington

Position ID:J0826-1127

Employment Type: Full Time

Position Description:

CGI is seeking an experienced, high-performing Client Partner with deep Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) domain expertise to drive growth across strategic accounts and expand CGI's presence in the New England healthcare market.

The successful candidate will combine strong account farming and new logo acquisition capabilities with the ability to establish trusted CXO-level relationships and proactively originate, shape, and close large strategic transformation and managed services deals.

We are looking for a leader who can leverage relationships within the Massachusetts market and will be fully immersed in the community.

This role is based in Metro Boston, Massachusetts.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Account Farming and Growth: Own and execute growth strategies for strategic Healthcare & Life Sciences accounts. Identify Whitespace, penetrate new business units and buying centers, and systematically increase revenue, bookings, and qualified pipeline.

New Logo Acquisition: Identify and pursue high-potential new healthcare clients, leveraging industry relationships and market knowledge to open doors and establish new logos for CGI. Develop relationships from the ground up and convert prospects into long-term strategic clients.

CXO Relationship Development: Build, deepen, and sustain relationships with C-suite and senior business and technology executives, positioning CGI as a trusted advisor and strategic transformation partner.

Large Proactive Deal Origination: Proactively identify and shape large, strategic opportunities rather than relying primarily on client-issued RFPs. Engage executives early to understand their business priorities and jointly develop transformation initiatives with compelling business cases.

Healthcare & Life Sciences Domain Leadership: Bring strong knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem, particularly health plans/payers and healthcare services, and translate industry trends, regulatory developments, technology disruption, and client challenges into business opportunities.

Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a healthy pipeline across both existing accounts and prospective new logos, with particular emphasis on large proactive opportunities.
Strategic Pursuit Leadership: Lead major pursuits from initial opportunity identification and qualification through solution shaping, commercial strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and closure.

Solution and Proposition Development: Collaborate with CGI business leaders, solution architects, SMEs, delivery teams, and partners to develop differentiated propositions addressing complex healthcare business and technology challenges.

Intercompany Collaboration: Bring the best of CGI to clients by connecting capabilities across consulting, managed services, digital transformation, data and AI, cloud, cybersecurity, application modernization, and CGI intellectual property.

. Demonstrated success in opening new logos, developing senior relationships from the ground up, and converting prospective clients into meaningful long-term accounts.
. Strong network within the healthcare ecosystem and demonstrated ability to gain access to CXO and senior decision-makers.
. Proven ability to establish trusted advisor relationships with senior client executives and engage them around their strategic business and technology agendas.
. Strong track record of proactively originating, shaping, and closing large, complex technology, consulting, transformation, and/or managed services deals.
. Ability to create opportunities ahead of formal procurement cycles rather than depending primarily on RFP driven pursuits.
. Experience orchestrating multidisciplinary teams to develop compelling solutions, value propositions, commercial constructs, and winning deal strategies.
. Strong understanding of healthcare technology priorities including digital transformation, data and AI, cloud modernization, cybersecurity, application modernization, operational transformation, member experience, and cost optimization.
