Mayo Clinic Department of Psychiatry and Psychology is seeking an outstanding psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry & Psychology at Mayo Florida. Mayo Florida is fortunate to have an excellent team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, nurses, health psychologists, and neuropsychologists. Mayo Clinic provides robust opportunities to engage in the "Three Shields" of clinical work, research, and education. For this position, most clinical responsibilities will be in adult outpatient psychiatric consultation with some consultation-liaison services to Mayo Florida Hospital. As an academic institution, active engagement in research and education is encouraged and extensive resources and infrastructure exists for scholarly pursuits. Faculty appointment will be commensurate with experience. Education opportunities include supervision of 3rd year medical students as well as family medicine and neurology residents.

Qualifications

Must be eligible for licensure in the State of Florida.
Must be board-certified/board-eligible through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry.
Fellowship in Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry is preferred, though not required
