Job DescriptionOverviewAtkinsRéalis is seeking a Civil Engineering EIT to join our Municipal Infrastructure Group in Toronto, Ontario. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a wide range of engineering and infrastructure projects while gaining exposure to civil, structural, traffic, environmental, geotechnical, foundations, pavement, rail, and electrical disciplines.
As part of a collaborative and fast-paced engineering team, you will support the delivery of municipal and linear infrastructure projects through both design and construction activities. Your role - Assist in the preparation of preliminary and detailed civil and municipal engineering designs for linear infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and update engineering drawings and technical documentation using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
- Support the development of contract packages, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with external agencies, multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and construction personnel to support successful project delivery.
About you- Civil Engineering graduate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in civil or municipal engineering design for linear infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, InRoads/OpenRoads, and MS Project.
- Aptitude for applying Ontario and/or TAC geometric design standards for roads and underground utility projects.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure, and deliver high-quality results within established deadlines.
- Valid Class G Driver's License is required.

Additional informationExpected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $80,700 - $102,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
