The Cisco EA Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of Cisco Enterprise Agreement (EA) renewals, True Forwards, and modifications on behalf of AHEAD's client base. This role requires deep expertise in the Cisco EA program - including CX EA, SW EA, and Meraki EAs - and serves as the primary subject matter expert for EA quoting, True Forward execution, and EA-related processes. The Cisco EA Specialist partners closely with Client Directors, the Cisco Renewal team, the Customer Success team, and Cisco directly to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality EA outcomes.
Responsibilities- Serve as the subject matter expert for Cisco Enterprise Agreement renewals, including CX EA, SW EA, Security EA, and Meraki EA structures
- Engage in the True Forward process beginning at the 60-day pre-anniversary date handoff from the Customer Success (CX) team, who owns consumption communication; from that point, take ownership of reading and interpreting True Forward reports received from distribution, build budgetary and executable quotes, process orders in Salesforce, and coordinate with Cisco and TD SYNNEX
- Read and analyze True Forward reporting to identify when a Cross Suite Value Shift (CSVS) or Inter-Suite Value Shift (ISVS) has taken place, and incorporate those findings into quote creation and order processing accordingly
- Build and manage EA quotes within the EA Management Portal (EAMP); create sidecar quotes in CCW-R when applicable
- Support EA deal registration and maintain Letters of Customer Consent (LoCC) to ensure quoting eligibility and compliance
- Proactively manage the EA renewal window (90-120 days out), providing budgetary and executable quotes ahead of the anniversary date
- Demonstrate working knowledge of ALC subscription modifications, EA recasts, and EA modifications within and outside the 90-day renewal window
- Maintain clean and accurate EA pipeline data in Salesforce, including forecasting and opportunity documentation
- Provide guidance and best-practice support to Cisco Renewal Specialists on EA-related questions
- Partner with AHEAD's Operations and Finance teams on billing, margin, and True Forward cost reconciliation
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of Cisco EA experience required; direct experience executing True Forwards and EA modifications is essential
- Proficiency in EAMP and working knowledge of CCW-R for sidecar quoting
- Understands the Cisco EA program structure including suites, tiers, True Forwards, CSVS, EGTFs, and co-term logic
- Experience working with Cisco AMs, Cisco CX teams, and TD SYNNEX on EA registrations and deal execution
- Strong understanding of Salesforce or other CRM platforms; ability to manage and maintain opportunity records
- Able to work independently on complex, multi-party deals with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable explaining EA concepts to sales teams and customers
- History of working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent renewal timelines
- Strong mathematical aptitude; comfortable working with margin percentages and pricing models
- Collaborative team player with strong organizational and time management skills
- Positive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and escalate appropriately
$80,000 - $115,000 a year
The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings ("OTE") for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
