Full Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Continuous Improvement Program Manager to lead a team of Supply Chain Projects and Development and drive best‑in‑class strategies across ROCKWOOL’s North American manufacturing network.

The annual base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $120,000 CAD. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions.

Your future team:

You will become part of the Supply Chain Development Team and will be reporting to the Supply Chain Development Director, North America. You will lead a team of two; one Project Manager and one CI Coach.

What you will be doing:

You are the system owner for Continuous Improvement in Supply Chain, turning improvement from ad-hoc projects into a disciplined, repeatable engine for performance. You will own the CI portfolio and governance, ensuring the organization focuses on the right problems, executes with rigor, and delivers measurable, sustained results. You will protect capacity, sharpen decision-making, and enable leaders and teams to succeed through clear guardrails, role clarity, and strong follow-through.

  • Own and steer the end-to-end CI portfolio, aligning initiatives to strategy, capacity, and business impact.
  • Run a robust intake and stage-gate governance process—ensuring only well-defined, value-backed initiatives move forward.
  • Maintain portfolio health by balancing demand vs. capacity and making tough calls to stop, defer, or reset work.
  • Raise decision quality by challenging weak problem definitions, unclear ownership, and unproven value.
  • Strengthen the CI operating model by enforcing role clarity and clean handoffs across CI Coaches, Project Managers, and sponsors.
  • Drive transparency and value realization with Finance and Performance & Insights through credible baselines, KPI tracking, and benefits validation.
  • Ensure improvements “stick” by embedding them into Supply Chain Management Systems routines, standard work, and clear process ownership.
  • Lead and develop the Improvement Delivery team, building capability, discipline, and a culture of constructive challenge.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 8–10+ years in Supply Chain / Operations / CI / OpEx with proven system-, program-, or portfolio-level impact.
  • Strong portfolio governance experience (prioritization, stage gates, capacity management, benefits realization).
  • People leadership experience with a track record of coaching and developing professionals.
  • Deep Lean and structured problem-solving capability (A3, PDCA, DMAIC) with a focus on thinking quality, not tool compliance.
  • Strong business acumen and comfort translating trade-offs into service, cost, risk, and strategic impact.
  • Data-driven and financially literate—able to work with baselines, KPIs, and benefits validation.
  • A calm, credible, and influential leader who brings clarity in ambiguity and drives alignment without relying on authority.
