The Opportunity

We've been retained confidentially to find a Chief of Staff for the Founder & CEO of a fast-growing, science-led beauty and wellness company built on breakthrough peptide research - clinically studied, backed by two decades of research, and trusted by leading dermatologists and top stylists. The company is on a clear path toward acquisition, and this hire will help build the operating foundation that gets it there.
This isn't an EA role with a fancier title, and it isn't a generic "strategic operations" seat that could belong to any startup in any city. It's a true apprenticeship beside a hands-on, fast-moving founder who wants a partner, not a scheduler - someone who could plausibly run her own company one day, and is building toward that here.
The Founder moves on instinct and moves fast. What she needs most is someone who can catch her before she says yes - who pulls the conversation back, runs the numbers, and says, "let's think about this for a minute." If you can drive execution, manage high-stakes relationships, and still be the sharpest, calmest voice in the room, this is your seat.

What You'll Actually Own
  • Relationship management that matters. Investors, board members, media, researchers, strategic partners - you'll manage the follow-through so no opportunity or commitment ever slips. This is active, hands-on relationship management, not a static CRM.
  • Business and financial thought partnership. Sharp business and financial judgment - you can crunch the numbers and see the bigger picture before decisions get made.
  • Execution across the business. From board prep to cross-functional projects to evaluating new opportunities, you'll keep initiatives moving, on schedule, and aligned with where the company is headed.
  • The Founder Office. Calendar, priorities, travel, correspondence, and the operating cadence that keeps a fast-moving founder-led company from losing momentum.
  • High-visibility projects. Book development, speaking engagements, media opportunities, content production, and strategic partnerships - you'll be the one making sure these actually ship.
  • Smarter systems. You'll bring AI-enabled workflows, dashboards, and operating processes into the business - fluent, daily use of tools like ChatGPT and Claude.
  • Travel with the Founder when it counts - major events and key moments where having you in the room makes the difference.

Who Thrives Here
  • An MBA, plus 5+ years in a Chief of Staff, executive business partner, or strategic/business operations role - or a background in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a family office, combined with real operating experience.
  • You've worked closely with a founder, CEO, or senior executive in a high-growth environment, and you already know how that pace feels.
  • A background in beauty, tech, or consumer products is a strong plus - bonus points for prior Chief of Staff experience with a founder or CEO.
  • You're entrepreneurial, low-ego, and high-ownership. You catch falling balls before anyone notices they were dropped.
  • You're energized, not drained, by working alongside someone brilliant, fast-moving, and occasionally chaotic.
The Fine Print
  • Location: Beverly Hills, fully onsite.
  • Travel: occasional, including major company events and key industry moments.
  • Work authorization: must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Discretion: you'll regularly be trusted with sensitive information - impeccable judgment and professionalism are non-negotiable.
If you've ever wanted a front-row seat to building a company from the inside - with a real shot at helping take it all the way to an exit - we want to talk to you.
