Job Description:

Provides support to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Leadership Team with implementing and tracking priority projects and strategic plans for the Company. Ensures that priorities and streamlined activities within the organization based on the priorities of the CEO progress within agreed timelines.

Responsibilities:

Provides project management for strategic priorities of the organization

  • Manages collective understanding on priority of all current projects and work and maintains status by priority providing periodic project status update and timing
  • Collects and connects data for analysis and review to provide support and insights to current priority projects
  • Organizes project teams to ensure understanding for all assigned responsibilities, timelines and process path, independently managing the resolution of conflicts or misalignment with support from CEO and Executive Leadership


Support Chief Executive Officer in agenda, time and priorities

  • Assess inquiries directed to the CEO, determine the proper course of action and delegate to the appropriate individual to manage
  • Assist the CEO in facilitating effective decision-making
  • Act as an adviser to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team
  • Works with CEO and HR Lead to ensure all leadership staff issues are addressed properly, efficiently and judiciously, and keep track of progress until resolved
  • Focused, along with CEO and ELT, on strategy and execution of company-wide programs to enhance the company's culture


Provides resource and support in Marketing, Public Relations and Sales areas

  • In collaboration with Company's public relations firm works to develop deep understanding of the resident experience and establish and execute a strong public relations and Awards program for our communities
  • Supports and collaborates with Sales leadership (CRO and VP Sales) and others to enhance the sales reporting function and establish sales analytics capabilities from the CRM system


Meeting Planning and Preparation

  • Supports executive meetings by ensuring all materials, data insights, etc. have been completed and provided to ensure optimal meeting effectiveness
  • Manages executive meeting key points, agreed next steps, timelines and assignments, and communicates to all involved
  • Supports planning efforts for any larger events connected with CEO and the Executive Leadership Team (e.g., all-day, or multiple day meetings)


Liaison to the Board of Directors

  • Strong record of working with Board of Directors over multiple years including managing agendas, presentations and reporting needed for Board meetings or events through coordination with those presenting or providing information for Board
  • Tracks outcomes/follow-up requests from Board to ensure timely and accurate communication with the Board


Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in the area(s) of project management and/or executive support and working with publicly traded company Board of Directors
  • Experience supporting C-Level Executives for five years in an Executive Assistant capacity
  • Experience managing direct report(s)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, human resources, communication or job-related area of study required. Graduate level education preferred.

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels of the Company's management, staff and Board of Directors
  • Ability to recognize and communicate problems appropriately
  • Ability to relate to the public, residents, families, and other external stakeholders appropriately
  • Ability to communicate proficiently in English, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet requirements of the job and be on call as needed
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary
  • Ability to travel within the United States by both airplane and automobile as needed
  • Ability to organize their time, follow-up with the ability to perform job tasks efficiently
  • Demonstrates team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and provide information as requested and required
