Full Job Description
Why this role?
Snyk is in a uniquely powerful position, operating in the category we helped define: the AI Security Fabric. As an Executive Leadership Team member reporting to the CFO, you will shape the next phase of a category-defining company. This is a "business-first" CIO role designed for a leader who views technology as a vehicle for growth and operational excellence.
You will lead our global technology organization, driving digital transformation and ensuring our enterprise systems scale seamlessly with our mission-critical role in the software ecosystem. This is your chance to build at scale and have a meaningful impact on global markets and enterprise customers during a period of high-growth independence and strategic expansion.
What You'll Do:
  • Own the Enterprise Ecosystem: Evolve and lead the strategy for our global application stack (ERP, CRM, HRIS, and Data Platforms) to ensure global system harmonization.
  • Drive Digital Transformation: Identify and implement AI-powered automation opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve accuracy across GTM and Finance.
  • Architect Data Insights: Build modern data infrastructure and KPI frameworks that enable real-time, executive-level decision-making.
  • Lead Strategy & Governance: Define a multi-year IT roadmap that aligns technical infrastructure with Snyk's long-term commercial business strategy.
  • Champion Operational Excellence: Oversee IT operations, infrastructure, and service desk while maintaining a robust, secure-by-design cybersecurity posture.
  • Mentor & Scale Teams: Build and lead high-performing global teams, serving as an expert coach to develop the next generation of technical leaders.
  • Influence Cross-Functionally: Partner with Finance, Sales, and Product to ensure technology accelerates growth and reduces system sprawl.
What You Bring:
  • Executive Leadership: 15+ years of progressive IT leadership with a track record of success in executive-level roles at high-growth, multi-region organizations.
  • Systems Expertise: Deep mastery of enterprise data architecture, financial systems, and large-scale ERP/CRM implementations.
  • Strategic Vision: The ability to translate complex business needs into a clear technical vision that informs what is possible for the organization.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong experience partnering with CFOs and RevOps to manage budgets, vendor ecosystems, and cost discipline.
  • Change Leadership: A pragmatic, hands-on approach to leading digital transformation and solving problems that span the entire organization.
It'd Be Awesome If You Also...
  • Have experience navigating future liquidity events or large-scale strategic expansions.
  • Are a "Systems Thinker" who can dive to arbitrary technical depth when a showstopper arises.
  • Bring a sense of humor-we take our mission seriously, but not ourselves!
  • Can build presentations that keep a board room awake 🙌

We care deeply about the warm, inclusive environment we've created and we value diversity - we welcome applications from those typically underrepresented in tech. If you like the sound of this role but are not totally sure whether you're the right person, do apply anyway!

Benefits & Programs
  • Prioritize health, wellness, financial security, and life balance with programs tailored to your location and role.
  • Flexible working hours, work-from home allowances, in-office perks, and time off for learning and self development
  • Generous vacation and wellness time off, country-specific holidays, and 100% paid parental leave for all caregivers
  • Health benefits, employee assistance plans, and annual wellness allowance
  • Country-specific life insurance, disability benefits, and retirement/pension programs, plus mobile phone and education allowances
