Job DescriptionThe Change Management Lead is responsible for shaping and delivering organizational change strategies that drive adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working across transformation initiatives.
This role operates as a senior individual contributor, working independently to assess complex situations, define strategic direction, and influence outcomes. Success in this role requires strong critical thinking, the ability to ask the right questions, and translating ambiguity into clear, actionable plans.
Responsibilities- Define and lead the end-to-end Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategy aligned to transformation objectives and business outcomes
- Operate independently to assess change needs, identify risks, and recommend clear, actionable solutions without requiring detailed direction
- Partner with transformation leads, business sponsors, and technology teams to ensure alignment, readiness, and sustained adoption
- Ask thoughtful, probing questions to uncover root causes, challenge assumptions, and shape more effective change strategies
- Translate complex, ambiguous information into clear narratives, stakeholder messaging, and actionable plans
- Conduct change impact and readiness assessments and convert insights into targeted change interventions
- Design and execute integrated OCM plans including communications, engagement, training, and resistance management
- Drive adoption through structured engagement approaches, including leadership alignment, sponsor activation, and change champion networks
- Establish and apply scalable OCM frameworks, tools, and templates to ensure consistency across initiatives
- Monitor adoption, sentiment, and risk indicators; adjust strategies based on data and stakeholder feedback
- Embed OCM into program governance and proactively manage risks that could impact adoption
Qualifications- 8+ years of experience in Organizational Change Management, supporting enterprise transformation initiatives
- Proven ability to operate as an independent, strategic thinker, able to move from ambiguity to clear direction without heavy oversight
- Exceptional critical thinking skills, with the ability to diagnose complex challenges and identify practical, high-impact solutions
- Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives tailored to different audiences
- Demonstrated ability to ask insightful, sometimes challenging questions that surface root issues, clarify direction, and improve outcomes
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment across cross-functional, matrixed environments
- Strong expertise across core OCM disciplines, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, change impact analysis, and adoption measurement
- Proficiency in change frameworks such as Prosci, ADKAR, or similar, with the ability to adapt approaches thoughtfully based on context
- Excellent facilitation and consulting skills, with a focus on driving business outcomes not just delivering activities
The typical base hourly pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85.00 - $100 per hour.
