Job Description

As a CRNA at the Endoscopy Center, you will function with a high degree of autonomy and clinical independence while collaborating closely with physicians, nursing staff, and operational leaders to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. Beyond clinical practice, Cedars-Sinai offers opportunities to grow as a leader, educator, and advocate for the profession. CRNAs are encouraged to:
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Engage in peer review and professional practice activities
• Serve on the Advanced Practice Council and other interdisciplinary committees
• Participate in Grand Rounds, journal clubs, case conferences, and continuing education programs
• Contribute to a culture of mentorship, collaboration, and lifelong learning

In accordance with delineated clinical privileges, the CRNA is responsible for providing safe, high-quality anesthesia care, including but not limited to:
• Performing comprehensive pre-anesthesia patient assessments and evaluations
• Independently developing and implementing anesthesia care plans for procedural patients
• Administering anesthesia and monitoring patients throughout the perioperative period
• Managing airway, hemodynamic, and anesthetic needs in a procedural setting
• Providing post-anesthesia evaluation, follow-up, and patient care
• Promoting patient safety, efficiency, and excellence in the ambulatory setting

Qualifications

Education Requirements:
  • Masters' Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Doctorate Degree in Nurse Anesthesia Practice Preferred.

Licenses:
  • California registered nurse license and CRNA license required.
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Experience:
  • 1 year of experience as a CRNA preferred.
