This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

HII designs, develops, integrates and manages the sensors, systems and other assets necessary to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision-making. With data fusion and mission management capabilities for the Department of Defense, the combatant commands and the intelligence community, HII advances the mission around the globe.

What You Will Do

The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting all source analysis, providing and/or supporting briefings to senior personnel, developing working relationships with HHS principals and catering to the intelligence needs of those personnel, identifying emerging risks within the assigned portfolio, coordinating and collaborating with federal partners, participating in relevant working groups and interagency meetings, and other tasks common to an intelligence analyst position, including providing briefing support and producing tailored intelligence products.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in a related field; 3 years of experience with Masters in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
  • Possess and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
  • Critical skills include expertise in analyzing CBRN threats; applying scientific and technical intelligence, medical intelligence, and geospatial analysis to assess emerging risks; conducting intelligence collection management, indicators and warning, and all-source analytic tradecraft; evaluating threat actors, proliferation networks, critical infrastructure vulnerabilities, and the impacts of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and biotechnology; and effective collaboration across the Intelligence Community and interagency partners
  • Ability to assess and weigh source reliability and credibility, identify assumptions, distinguish facts from judgments, and evaluate alternate explanations
  • Provide trend analysis based on pattern recognition, including synthesizing fragmented information and identifying critical gaps
  • Possess research and collection skills, e.g. knowing what data sources to query, identify priority intelligence requirements, key intelligence questions
  • Brief senior leaders on critical updates and key trends in intelligence reporting that properly attributes sources, conveys uncertainty, and offers important context
  • Display intelligence acumen, e.g. knowledge of how to leverage IC partners, appropriate classification
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work with others
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have a working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat

  • Must be able to adjust to constantly changing priorities and demands
  • Experience interacting with customers and/or functional peer group involving matters between functional areas, other divisions or units, or customers and the department
  • Familiarity with Security Classification Guides (SCGs) and Classification Management Tool (CMT)
  • 1-3 years' experience in technical writing or editing with at least one year working in the Intelligence Community
