Primary Duties and Responsibilities

In this key role, you will assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and pulmonary angiographic procedures. This will include operating digital cine radiographic equipment, as well as providing hemodynamic monitoring and scrub assistance on diagnostic and interventional procedures.

The Cath Lab Technologist will assist with digital cine acquisition. You will perform digital analysis of LV wall motion, coronary artery sizing and stenosis. You'll be responsible for panning, collimation and filtering. You will rotate within Interventional Cardiology to include Pediatric Cath, Adult Cath, Peripheral Vascular and Electrophysiology. The position Includes on-call responsibilities with the expectation of a 30 minute response time.

*May be required to float to other UCLA Cath Lab locations including Ronald Reagan, Santa Monica & West Valley Medical Center locations*

Salary Range: $58.74 - $77.50 Hourly

  • At least 6 months in a Cath Lab, IR suite or similar settings - strongly preferred
  • At least 1 year procedural experience - preferred
  • ARRT CI (Cardiac-Interventional) certification - strongly preferred
  • ARRT VI (Vascular-Interventional Radiography) certification - strongly preferred
  • STEMI experience - strongly preferred
  • Must be able to move over 35lbs. and wear up to 25lbs. of lead apron
  • Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations
