Your Role As Assistant Head Nurse, you will partner with the Nurse Manager to drive excellence in patient care and unit operations.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide administrative and operational support to the Nurse Manager
- Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff
- Coordinate shift assignments and staffing coverage
- Supervise and evaluate staff performance and development
- Deliver hands-on clinical leadership and support
- Oversee and assist with incident, accident, and investigatory reporting
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards

Requirements - Current NYS RN License
- BLS & ACLS (AHA required)
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience (Psychiatry/Behavioral Health preferred)
