Job Summary

At this time, only current PSEG employees are being considered.
Develop, implement, and measure communications and marketing campaigns to support and achieve goals/adoption forecasts for initiatives, operational targets, products and services. Communications support and initiatives may include: customer service option adoption; customer satisfaction targets; technology launches; customer education gaps; energy efficiency and management of usage and costs; and collection/payment assistance support.

Write and edit content for both external and internal communications. Work closely with subject matter experts to investigate and gather content from varied sources and ensure clear, direct, accurate and consistent communications.

Support communications technology and initiatives, including Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Customer Communication Preference Center, and Call Center On-Hold Messaging.

Execute promotional and communications tactics as follows: manage the development of customer lists for specific campaigns according to segmentation; manage the development and production of external communication vehicles, such as sales collateral, direct mail, bill inserts, email, newsletters, radio, video, product catalogs, digital and social, public

Job Responsibilities

Develop, produce, and execute campaign and media plans
  • Create campaign plans to address goals and objectives.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, maintaining campaign budget reporting.
  • Manage key vendors and agencies.
    Interact regularly with Operations, Legal, Inquiry, Procurement, Media Relations, Corporate Communications, Creative Services, and Customer Technology.
  • Develop strategies to reduce customer acquisition costs and increase customer response rates and engagement.
  • Develop presentations for management.

Analyze campaign effectiveness and performance
  • Provide performance reporting on measures of customer and marketing campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop solutions to campaign data requests.
  • Maintain campaign and budget/financial reports.
  • Create reports and metrics by extracting, formatting, analyzing and validating information; develop appropriate communication and presentation materials utilizing visuals, including charts, graphs, etc.
  • Assist in benchmarking against best practices in marketing analytics in other utilities and industries.
  • Maintain reporting for campaign activities and budget tracking/forecasting.


Job Specific Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of professional experience in a Marketing/Advertising or Business related field
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel, as well as advanced PowerPoint and Access skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Analytical capability, strategic thinking
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Compliance with the Department of Energy's regulation 10 CFR 810 is required

  • Prior experience with integrated marketing/communications plans, media campaigns and writing content
