Qualifications

• 2+ years of employment litigation or OSHA experience
• Preferred experience with Cal/OSHA, federal OSHA, or workplace safety enforcement
• Hands-on experience drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and handling depositions
• California Bar admission with strong academic performance
• Excellent writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proactive and self-motivated with strong judgment and teamwork abilities
• Capacity to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Devote over 50% of practice to the Workplace Safety Practice Group
• Handle litigation related to employment and workplace safety issues
• Draft pleads, discovery requests, motions, and all relevant litigation documents
• Formulate case strategies and argue motions in court
• Conduct and defend depositions, participate in hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
• Oversee cases through all litigation phases and maintain client communications
• Collaborate within the firm to pursue interests aligned with practice goals
