The Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) is an agency of the United States Department of Defense (DoD) that provides audit and financial advisory services to DoD and other federal entities responsible for acquisition and contract administration. The agency was established in 1965 and is headquartered in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. DCAA's mission is to provide timely, high-quality audits and financial advisory services to ensure that DoD and other federal agencies receive the best value for their acquisition and contract administration dollars.
