What You Can ExpectOperations & Service Delivery- Oversee daily cafe operations including opening/closing procedures, staffing, and service quality standards
- Manage food service vendor relationships and hold vendors accountable to SLAs, quality benchmarks, and contract terms
- Monitor and respond to employee feedback, continuously improving menu offerings and service experience
- Coordinate catering and special event food service in partnership with the broader Workplace Operations team
Financial Management- Manage cafe operating budget including subsidy tracking, cost-per-meal analysis, and variance reporting
- Review and approve vendor invoices; reconcile billing against contracted rates and actual usage
- Identify cost savings opportunities without compromising employee experience
Compliance & Safety- Ensure all food service operations comply with applicable health codes, food safety regulations, and Marvell policies
- Maintain up-to-date health permits and coordinate inspections with local authorities
- Conduct regular audits of food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
Team & Vendor Leadership- Supervise, schedule, and develop cafe staff (direct or contracted), fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
- Lead regular vendor performance reviews and participate in contract renewals and RFP processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Facilities, EH&S, and HR on workplace programs and initiatives
Sustainability & Innovation- Champion sustainability initiatives including waste reduction, composting programs, and sustainable sourcing
- Stay current on food service industry trends and bring forward innovative ideas to enhance the employee dining experience
- Track and report on sustainability KPIs aligned with Marvell's ESG goals
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of food service or cafe management experience, preferably in a corporate or institutional environment
- Demonstrated experience managing vendor contracts and holding third-party providers accountable
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing operating budgets
- Current ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety credential
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)104,220 - 156,100, $ per annum
The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
