What You'll Do Day-To-Day
Ensure that project procurement requirements are understood and that procured products and services meet lead-time, price and quality requirements.
Review and approve purchases up to a specified dollar amount.
Analyze entire supply chain (integrated approach to purchasing) to maximize profitability and achieve objectives.
Engage and coordinate with line managers to implement appropriate commodity/supply strategies.
Participate as key member of Cross Functional Teams (CFT) in supplier relationship activities such as selection, rationalization, development, performance measurement and recognition.
Perform spend and commodity analysis; assists with development of contract negotiation strategies.
Gather and report metrics to assess effectiveness of procurement operations.
Display business acumen, influencing skills and customer service with colleagues and customers.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree (4 years) in Business, Finance or related discipline.
Minimum of 4 years of related experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
CPM certification is preferred.
Nuclear industry experience preferred.
Knowledge of procurement processes and roles.
Knowledge of inventory control, lead times, and demand planning.
Ability to generate and manage purchase orders, vendor records, and reports.
Excellent communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed data.
Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
Total Rewards Package
Salary: $88,000 - $115,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
