Business Systems Analyst- Zuora Administrator

Canopy, Draper, UT

We are hiring a Business Systems Analyst to own, optimize, and scale Zuora, our core billing and subscription management system. Business Systems Analysts serve a huge role here at Canopy, from building seamless integrations across tools to leveraging AI and automation to streamline our billing and financial operations. This is a hybrid position in Draper, Utah (M, W, F in-office).

What You'll Do
  • Own and manage Canopy's daily operations in Zuora.
  • Design and optimize workflows for billing, subscription management and financial reporting, with a focus on automation, scalability, and accuracy.
  • Strategize and build the vision for how Canopy uses Zuora.
  • Anticipate business needs and deliver functionality to support new product launches, pricing changes, and internal process changes.
  • Drive seamless cross-system integrations and data flows across business systems.
  • Identify and implement AI-powered automation to improve data accuracy, efficiency, and user experience.
  • Partner with system owners and business stakeholders to align tools with complete, end-to-end business processes within Zuora.
  • Communicate solutions and tradeoffs clearly to both technical and business audiences.
  • Build and maintain documentation on system architecture, processes, and integrations.
  • Streamline processes, improve usability, and reduce manual work through automation and AI-driven solutions.
  • Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For
  • 3 years of experience owning Zuora or another billing system (Chargebee, Maxio, etc). 5+ years of experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline
  • Strong system design fundamentals with a proven hands-on record of solving business problems.
  • Direct, deep experience with quote-to-cash processes, billing system design, and business operations in a SaaS environment.

Bonus Points
  • Clear, confident communication skills, able to translate technical constraints into business language and vice versa for audiences of all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce technical artifacts and documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and data modeling.
